As spectacular as the flowers were I was really fascinated by the buds which were green with silvery fuzz.

The French Quarter had so many eye-catching buildings it was hard not to become a shutterbug and photograph everything instead of just looking around. This pop of colour caught my eye and as it reflected the happy time we had there after so much trauma it represents hope and joy.

The light in Tromso is incredible, especially when the sun starts to return. Sunsets appear and disappear and then reappear for what seems like hours.
Unlike the tropics where you sit drinking a gin and tonic waiting for the green flash. We were lucky to see three flashes, two in The Bahamas and one on Grand Cayman. As a heads up, they are not really flashes but a pulse of green light which is a bit of a surprise.
