Tigger (2017) c. Jules Mitchell
I was pet sitting and unfortunately, this much-loved family pet was injured… So I did this painting for my friends to remember him by.
Nighteyes (2017) c. Jules Mitchell.
For about twenty years I’ve been reading a series by Robin Hobb. In March the final book was released and it had the most satisfying ending to a wonderful series. A major character is Nighteyes and this is my attempt to portray the wolf.

Silver Fox in the Arctic (2017) c. Jules Mitchell.

American Kestral- Charleston Aquarium (2016) c. Jules Mitchell.
Though it is an aquarium and a very impressive one at that, they have several rescued birds who are too injured to be returned to the wild. There is even a huge Bald Eagle who had had an argument with a power line and lost. This kestrel just looked so grumpy I couldn’t resist trying to capture his expression.
Arctic Tern Chick (2017) c. Jules Mitchell
They are such little fluff balls, couldn’t resist. Outside our flat in Tromso seagulls are nesting and defending their nests against a Mink.
Otter in Charleston (2016) c. Jules Mitchell

Cats at Ephesus (2017) c. Jules Mitchell
We were so lucky to arrive at Ephesus early in the morning on a very foggy day. The place was deserted and Gary took some fabulous shots. When the sun came out it warmed up and these cats were basking in the 2000-year-old ruins much the same as their ancestors had done for generations.
